How do I become a service professional?
Create an account, complete your professional profile with relevant skills and experience, submit required verification documents (ID, trade licenses, insurance), and select your service categories and service area within Alberta. Our team will review your application within 1-3 business days. Once approved, you'll start receiving job requests matched to your expertise.
How do I create an account?
Click 'Sign Up' at the top of our website or download our mobile app. Choose between a customer account or service professional account. Complete the registration form with your name, email, and create a secure password. Verify your email address, and you're ready to start using BaaiCore!
What services are available on BaaiCore?

What if the scope changes after a quote?
Our platform handles scope changes transparently. Your professional can submit a revised quote through the app, clearly indicating what's changed. All modifications are documented and must be approved by you before any additional work proceeds or additional charges are applied. This protects both you and your service provider.
How quickly can I expect to receive quotes?
For standard services, you'll typically receive your first responses within 1-4 hours, with most quotes arriving within 24 hours. For emergency services, our rapid response system connects you with available professionals within minutes. The exact timing depends on service type, location, and current demand.
Can I schedule recurring services?
Absolutely! BaaiCore makes it easy to set up recurring appointments for services like regular cleaning, lawn maintenance, or seasonal home maintenance. You can set your preferred frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or custom), and our system will automatically schedule future appointments with your chosen professional.
How do I cancel or reschedule a booking?
You can cancel or reschedule through your BaaiCore dashboard or mobile app. Go to 'My Bookings,' select the appointment, and choose 'Reschedule' or 'Cancel.' Please note our 24-hour courtesy policy—cancellations less than 24 hours before a scheduled service may incur a fee as outlined in our service agreement.
What information should I include in my job request?
For the most accurate quotes and best service, include: detailed description of the work needed, measurements or dimensions when applicable, photos of the area or issue, your timeline, any specific materials preferences, property access information, and any special requirements. The more details you provide, the more precise your quotes will be.
Can I choose a specific date and time for service?
Yes, you can specify your preferred date and time when posting your job request. Professionals will confirm if they can accommodate your schedule or propose alternative times. For maximum flexibility, you can also indicate time ranges or multiple date options that work for you.
3. Payments & Protection
How does payment work?
BaaiCore uses a secure escrow-style payment system. When you book a service, the funds are held securely in your BaaiCore account until the job is completed to your satisfaction. Once you confirm completion, we release payment to the professional. For larger projects, we offer milestone-based payments so you can release funds as specific stages are completed.
What payment methods are accepted?
BaaiCore accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, Interac e-Transfer, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. For businesses, we also offer invoicing options with net payment terms. All payments are processed through Canadian payment processors with enterprise-grade security.
What protections do I have as a customer?
BaaiCore provides multiple layers of protection: secure payment handling, comprehensive service professional verification (identity, background checks, license verification, insurance validation), dispute resolution assistance, our BaaiCore Guarantee for qualifying services, and our transparent review system. These protections comply with all applicable Alberta consumer protection regulations.
What is the BaaiCore Guarantee?
The BaaiCore Guarantee provides additional peace of mind for eligible services. If a job is not completed to the agreed specifications despite reasonable attempts to resolve the issue, BaaiCore may provide compensation up to the value of the service (subject to our terms). This guarantee covers workmanship issues for 30 days after service completion.
How do I handle disputes with a service provider?
First, try to resolve the issue directly through our in-app messaging system. If that doesn't resolve the matter, initiate our formal dispute process from your dashboard. Our customer success team will review the case, examine all communications and evidence, and work toward a fair resolution according to our dispute resolution policy.
Are there any service fees?
For customers, there are no fees to post jobs or receive quotes. Service professionals pay a small commission on completed jobs, which helps us maintain the platform, verification systems, and customer protections. This fee structure allows us to offer our platform free to customers while ensuring high-quality service providers.
How are professionals verified?
Our verification process includes identity verification, address confirmation, professional license validation (where applicable for regulated trades), insurance verification, criminal background checks for eligible services, and review of work history. We also monitor ongoing reviews and maintain quality standards for all professionals on our platform.

How are jobs matched to me?
Our intelligent matching system considers several factors: your service categories, service area, availability, response rate, customer ratings, completion rate, and specific skills or certifications. We prioritize professionals who consistently provide excellent service and maintain high platform standards.
What fees do professionals pay?
BaaiCore charges a competitive commission on completed jobs, ranging from 10-15% depending on your service category and membership tier. Premium membership options are available with reduced commission rates and additional benefits. There are no upfront fees, monthly charges, or costs for receiving job requests.
How do I receive payments?
After job completion and customer confirmation, funds are released to your BaaiCore account. You can then transfer funds to your linked bank account (1-3 business days processing time), request an Interac e-Transfer for same-day access (small fee applies), or maintain a balance in your BaaiCore account for platform fees on future jobs.
What insurance do I need as a service provider?
Requirements vary by service category, but most providers should have general liability insurance (minimum $2 million recommended for most trades). Specialized services may require additional coverage like professional liability insurance, workers' compensation, or bonding. BaaiCore offers access to preferred insurance partners with competitive rates for platform members.
6. Technical Help
How do I reset my password?
